President’s Day

Presidents’ Day is a U.S. federal holiday observed on the third Monday of February each year. In 2025, it falls on February 17. Originally established in 1885 to honor George Washington’s birthday (February 22), the holiday later expanded to recognize all U.S. presidents, particularly Abraham Lincoln, whose birthday is February 12.
