College Colors Day is celebrated annually in the United States on the first Friday before Labor Day. The day encourages students, alumni, and fans to show their school spirit by wearing the colors, logos, and apparel of their favorite college or university. It began in 2004, launched by the College Licensing Company (CLC), as a way to promote school pride and unite fans at the start of the academic and athletic year.
