Bubble Gum Day is celebrated on the first Friday of February each year, making it February 7, 2025 this time around. It’s a fun and creative holiday that started in 2006, originally as a school fundraiser idea by children’s author Ruth Spiro. Traditionally, students donate a small amount of money (like 50 cents) to charity in exchange for being allowed to chew gum at school for the day. Over time, it has expanded beyond schools, with businesses and organizations using it as a fundraising or fun engagement opportunity.
